Jill's Fudge Icing

1 stick butter
1 cup sugar (or 1 3/4 C powdered sugar)
1/3 C evaporated milk
3/4 C chocolate chips
1 tsp vanilla

in sauce pan combine butter, sugar, and milk
bring to a boil, stirring constantly, for 2 minutes
add chips and vanilla
keep stirring until smooth and pourable
pour immediately over brownies

Make your chips half peanut butter for a variation
