3 lb beef brisket
1 lb potatoes cut into chunks
1/2 lb carrots cut into chunks
3/4 C water
1 envelope onion soup mix
preheat oven to 325
in roasting pan, add soup mixed with water
add brisket and turn to coat
cover with foil or lid and bake 1 hour
add potatoes and carrots and toss to coat, also basting brisket
cover again and bake 2 hours or until vegetables are tender
If I make larger chunks, I will put veggies in at the start
